Veve Takes On New Branding To Set Up For Mass Adoption In Digital Assets
Collectors at heart - breaks into a new strategy for VeVe
What is VeVe?
VeVe is a premium digital collectibles app centered around collecting 2.0 that is powered by NFT technology via Immutable X layer 2 built on the Ethereum network. VeVe has secured some of the world’s largest licenses like Disney, Marvel, and DC Comics. VeVe drops some of the most iconic characters and comics for the very first time as NFTs on their mobile and web app.
VeVe’s New Brand Overhaul
If you noticed your VeVe app has looked different, it’s because it is. VeVe just had a major overhaul of its entire brand. VeVe just updated its logo, color scheme, and app logo. The new branding puts a key emphasis on “collectors at heart”.
VeVe Community Update
The VeVe founders, head of product development, and head of marketing just released a community update around some key updates. Some of those updates include Master Collectors Program (MCP), account merging, and Crypto payout. Dan Crothers (co-founder) mentioned that MCP phase 1 will be the first of the MCP rollout but didn’t mention a date. Also the crypto payout feature, according to Dan Crothers, was “finished” and just awaiting final security tests before they roll it out. Crypto payout would allow users to withdraw funds via crypto, which would be a highly anticipated feature given that VeVe is utilizing the blockchain to underpin their app. Other details like account merging and waitlists for drops you can find in the full video here:
Infinity Gauntlet Soon?
VeVe just dropped the 5th Infinity Stone (The Reality Stone) in the Marvel Infinity Wars saga in the form of Aether which puts users one stone closer to completing the entire set of Infinity Stones. There has been major speculation around a possible airdrop or burning event where users would be able to claim or burn all the stones to acquire an Infinity Gauntlet upon completion but there has been no confirmation of such claims.

Iconic Drops Ahead
One thing is for certain. There are still a lot of major drops happening on VeVe so if you think you’re too late to the party… think again! You can still catch iconic drops like the NFT version of the first appearance of Black Panther in the Fantastic Four (1961) #52 comic. According to Quality Comix a 9.8 CGC graded physical comic of Fantastic Four #52 fetched a record sale of $83,650 in 2016 (before the first Black Panther movie came out).
In Conclusion
VeVe is still rolling out features to users and working on improving the overall experience like the slated release of the Master Collectors Program and the OMI Utility Program which will eventually be a major focus of the app when rolled out. VeVe is also working on a metaverse experience called the VeVeVerse which will somewhat be separate from the app and provide users with an immersive experience with their NFT collection and allow users to import non-VeVe NFTs into the VeVeVerse. In the meantime, users can expect VeVe to continue to drop iconic NFTs of some of the biggest brands in the world and some of the most popular characters, comics, and intellectual property.
